Identify The Cause Of Your Problem

CORELINK follows a non-invasive therapeutic approach which is modeled around Osteopathic philosophy and principles. We place great emphasis on homeostasis and balance, to ensure that the body maintains health in every cell, organ and system. The application of osteopathic manual therapy aims at restoring circulation and underlying nerve, joint and soft tissue damage.

The therapist uses precise gentle touch skills in order to assess the quality of tissues, structures and fluids, as well as their position in regards to health, vitality and mobility. This helps to identify areas of pain, restriction and poor circulation, and therefore the cause of dysfunction. Over time, muscles and other tissues may become tight or compressed in the body, leading to pain, discomfort and stress in general. At CORELINK, we treat the client’s presenting condition, while also taking into consideration the fact that emotional, mental and other physical elements are often a part of the condition.

In most cases, client’s symptoms do not directly correspond to areas of dysfunction, which can make it very difficult to find the source of the problem. One reason may be multiple injuries and conditions contributing to the symptoms experienced. After all, if one part of the body is compressed and restricted, other areas of the body will need to adapt to try and overcome the condition.

As the body tries to compensate for the affected areas, the result can lead to stiffness, pain and inflammation. Many health disciplines would focus on these areas, rather than the triggering condition. However at CORELINK we focus on finding the cause of the problem, freeing the primary areas of restriction, which helps free other areas. The resulting domino effect can lead to full restoration in your mobility, circulation and system balance, which in turn help the body to heal efficiently.

We use unique treatment options with a wide range of gentle non-invasive manual techniques in order to provide a high level of treatment and support.

Myofascial and Visceral Release

These techniques help to restore mobility in muscles and fascia that might have been lost as a result of the presenting condition. This includes myofascial techniques, muscle energy techniques, pumping techniques, rhythmic techniques, functional and reciprocal tension techniques, and strain and counter-strain techniques.

Joint Mobilization and Manipulation

These techniques mobilize joints and soft tissue by reducing joint strain and pain as well as returning them to their natural position. This will induce therapeutic relaxation and restore the joints optimal range of motion and function.

Cranial-Sacral Therapy

The body is in a state of constant motion. These techniques focus on restoring this motion so it is optimal for the body and surrounding tissues, relieving stress, pain and discomfort.

Many people experience pain due to old injuries. Other problems include poor weight management, poor circulation, poor postural habits and much more. A poor sleeping pattern can also render your body unable to deal with pain, drastically reducing your threshold while also magnifying the condition in general.

Please note, in cases of injury or accident it is advisable to seek advice from your medical doctor before you establish a treatment plan or for the complete diagnosis of any medical condition.

At CORELINK we can optimize the body’s own natural ability to heal, restoring balance while also fully restoring vitality and health.
